Come celebrate Meg Harder and her time spent at rare at her Eastern Comma Artist-in-Residence Show at North House on Tuesday May 31st.
Visit North House and discover the recent work by Meg Harder, a local artist who has been living at rare for two months and exploring the property, finding inspiration for her eclectic work. Made possible with funding support from the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund and Musagetes, Harder’s residency is the latest iteration of a creative Eastern Comma partnership. Living in our solar powered living lab, North House, Meg has explored the relationship between science and art, and the common inspiration they share: nature.
Meg Harder will be presenting her research working with locally foraged plant matter to make traditional and experimental art materials. In addition, two new pieces inspired by her time at rare will be installed for display at the North House. Light refreshments will be provided.
